Minor flood warning issued for Upper Murrumbidgee River

THE Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a minor flood warning for the Upper Murrumbidgee River, which will see it peak tonight (December 10).

Even though conditions are likely to ease across the ACT over the weekend, the BOM expects river levels will remain above average, as the upstream catchment drains.

Authorities are urging people undertaking outdoor activities this weekend to take care and be sensible.
