ACT hospital numbers creep higher

ACT covid hospital numbers are rising and have hit 30 patients in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.

The number includes “three in intensive care and three ventilated,” says ACT Health today (January 15).

New cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT over the same period stand at 1320, comprising 629 from PCR testing and 691 from rapid antigen tests.

ACT Health is managing 3316 active cases and the total; number of cases since March 12 in the ACT stands at 21,174 (19,065 PCR and 2109 RAT).

On the booster front, there are 28.1 per cent residents over 18 who are now triple vaccinated and 15.3 per cent of children, aged 5-11, who been vaccinated.
