Active covid cases drop in the ACT

The ACT recorded 1020 COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday (January 12).

ACT Health reports that there were 5004 active cases, down from yesterday’s 5601.

There are 24 people in hospital with COVID-19, three are in intensive care and two are on ventilators.

Positive rapid antigen test (RAT) results will be included in reports from tomorrow.

ACT residents aged 18 and over who have received their booster vaccination has reached 26.8 per cent.
