SOUTHERN NSW is reporting 489 new COVID-19 cases today (January 16), of which 154 are in the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council area. Self reported rapid antigen test results are not yet included in these numbers.
The Southern NSW Local Health District is also reporting there are 28 people in hospital, including four in intensive care.
The District is managing 3891 active cases.
Elsewhere across southern NSW there are:
- 97 new cases in the Bega Valley LGA,
- 94 in Eurobodalla,
- 54 in Goulburn Mulwaree,
- 36 in Snowy Monaro,
- 15 in Upper Lachlan and
- 37 in Yass Valley.
