A highway speedster has copped a $1841 fine and 6 demerit points after he was clocked travelling 48 km/h over the speed limit.
The 45-year-old man from Calwell – who was driving a grey BMW – was caught speeding on the Monaro Highway yesterday (November 16) morning.
Police checks on the man revealed he had previously been detected speeding by more than 45km/h in May 2021.
In a separate incident, a P – plater was fined $700 for fish-tailing in Chisholm.
Police say the 18-year-old man from Isabella Plains man was caught on a dash-cam sliding his Ford ute on a roundabout before fish-tailing down the road.
He was slapped with a $700 fine and lost three demerit points.
