RATs make their debut at Kambah testing clinic

RAPID antigen tests (RATs) will be used for the first time at the Kambah COVID-19 testing clinic tomorrow (January 14).

ACT Health says these tests are only available for people who have covid symptoms, are household contacts of a confirmed case, are at a high or moderate risk of contracting covid, or who have been instructed by ACT Health to get a test.

ACT Health has secured an initial supply of 10,000 tests that will be available from 10am tomorrow, only at the Kambah clinic.

The use of RATs in Kambah is only scheduled for tomorrow, while ACT Health waits on a further supply of test kits.

People presenting to Kambah to collect RATs will be required to complete a declaration upon arrival to confirm that they meet the criteria to be tested, and will then receive a pack of two RAT kits and instructions.
