How about a driving lesson for Christmas?

Revolution Driver Training CEO STEVE LAKE explains the importance and benefits of getting expert help through a qualified driving instructor for people who are on their learner licence or about to get their learner licence.

IT’S important to learn the most effective and safest methods of driving, including managing the risks as a driver, says Revolution Driver Training CEO Steve Lake.

“I think it’s a great idea for parents, grandparents or anyone to buy learner drivers some driving lessons as a Christmas gift,” says Steve Lake.

“First of all, when a learner is taught by a talented instructor, they will be a safer and more skilled driver. This is critical for their first 12 months as a provisional driver, which is the most dangerous time in their driving journey.

“Additionally, for the first 10 lessons, learners will receive three hours credit in their logbook per one-hour lesson, meaning for 10 lessons they will receive 30 hours.”

As part of the Road Ready Centre, Steve says Revolution Driver Training is building a strong team of high-quality instructors who are focused on providing the best learning experience and customer service possible.

“While it depends on the learner driver, we estimate that for most learners who have never driven before, eight lessons, spread out over their learner licence period, is what is recommended,” he says.

“Our company was established with the values of trying to reduce the amount of road trauma suffered by our community, in particular the trauma our youth suffer.

“This is everything that our company exists for, we try to achieve this through the best quality education and learning experiences we can offer.

“Driving lessons are an extension of what we have been doing now for 23 years in classroom based courses. Lessons give us the chance to take the classroom learning and help our learners put it into practice in a practical way.”

Steve says Revolution Driver Training has plenty of availability for lessons before Christmas, in all areas of Canberra, in both automatic and manual vehicles.

“I think it’s a great idea for parents, grandparents or anyone to buy learner drivers some driving lessons as a Christmas gift,” he says.

“There is no limit on how many lessons can be gifted, I think just one lesson is a generous gift, but we offer packages of up to 10 lessons.

“We have qualified female instructors on staff, and instructors who speak other languages, so that everyone can feel comfortable and supported in their learning to drive journey.

“And, our customers can also book courses with the Road Ready Centre which will give them even more bonus hours, and help them to be even safer on our roads.”
