A 54-year-old Florey man has been charged after allegedly assaulting and forcibly confining his partner following a card game on Monday night.
Police say the man, his partner and their son were playing card games when the man allegedly grabbed a wooden stool and cornered her in the kitchen area and spat at her.
Police arrested the man and charged him with two counts of aggravated common assault and forcible confinement.
