Two drivers were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on collision at the intersection of Southern Cross Drive and Kingsford Smith Drive on Sunday.
About 3.30pm, police and emergency services responded to a head-on collision between a black Audi A4 and a black Hyundai Elantra.
Police believe one of the vehicles entered the intersection against a red traffic light.
