Rebecca Vassarotti has returned to the ACT Legislative Assembly as the Greens member for Kurrajong, following the countback triggered by former MLA Shane Rattenbury’s retirement.
ACT Greens leader Jo Clay welcomed Ms Vassarotti’s return, saying her previous experience as a minister and MLA would strengthen the party’s Assembly team.
Ms Clay also acknowledged Mr Rattenbury’s contribution to the ACT, saying the Greens would continue his work in Kurrajong.
Ms Vassarotti said she was looking forward to working with the community on issues including climate, housing and sustainability.
