A 17-year-old provisional licence holder has had his licence suspended and vehicle seized after police say they detected him travelling 70km/h above the speed limit on the Tuggeranong Parkway.
Police said they detected the vehicle about 11pm on Saturday travelling at 170km/h in a signposted 100km/h zone.
The driver was stopped and his licence was immediately suspended and his vehicle seized. Police said he will be summonsed over the alleged offence.
