THE ACT has hit a record 189 new covid cases, however there is only one covid patient in hospital to 8pm last night (December 26).
There are now 688 active cases in the territory and the total number of cases since this outbreak began on August 12 is 2818.
The ACT returned 4266 negative tests in the 24 hours to 9am today.
