Another covid death, but cases fall

A man in his 80s has died with COVID-19, as case numbers fall across the capital.

The man’s death brings the number of coronavirus-related deaths in the ACT to 124.

There were 199 reported cases of the virus today (September 1), a decrease from yesterday’s 236 reported cases.

Of the 199 new covid cases, 124 were from PCR and 75 from RATs.

Ninety-two people are in hospital with the virus, and two are in intensive care.
