A MAN is facing court charged with more than 100 alleged intimidation, telecommunications and vandalism offences in the Southern Highlands.
NSW police say earlier this month officers attached to the Hume Police District established Strike Force Crony to investigate videos posted online that are alleged to have been threatening and offensive.
A 43-year-old man was arrested at at Bowral Railway Station on February 24.
In a search of his unit, police seized a computer tablet alleged to contain offensive videos.
The man was charged with 108 offences, including;
- Destroy or damage property (graffiti) (59 counts)
- Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal) (27 counts)
- Use carriage service to menace/harass/offend (12 counts)
- Contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (six counts)
- Use carriage service to threat to kill (three counts), and,
- Fail to comply with reporting obligations (one count).
Police will allege in court that the man vandalised almost 60 private and public properties with distinctive graffiti and posted more than 160 offensive videos online.
