A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with choking and slapping his partner in Fadden on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the man allegedly began arguing with the couple’s child, his partner intervened and the man then confronted her, slapping her in the face before choking her.
The man was arrested in Chisholm later that evening and charged with choking, suffocating or strangling another person and common assault.
