Canberra’s drag, burlesque and cabaret communities will come together for an evening of glamour, spectacle and live performance when La Cage BLEU opens at Blue Eyes Bar & Lounge this weekend.
Described as a cabaret and variety show celebrating the depth of talent within Canberra’s creative community, the event will feature drag, burlesque, aerial and cabaret artists in an intimate late-night setting.
Hosted by Teeni Banhmi and Nadya Business, the show promises to transform the venue into what organisers describe as a queer nightclub from another era, where low lighting, velvet curtains and theatrical performance create an atmosphere of mystery and glamour.
Joining the hosts on stage will be Mishka Mink, Eros Storm, Riley Darling, Ali De La Sass, Ko Ko and Faux Neé Phish.
