Five omicron cases confirmed in ACT

CASES of the COVID-19 variant omicron have grown to five in Canberra, after three new infections were detected.

The three new infections were confirmed by ACT health yesterday (December 6), two are household contacts of earlier cases and one is a casual contact – bringing the case total to five.

According to ACT health, one of the cases attended Lyneham Primary School campus while infectious on November 30 and December 1 last week, sending about 180 people into quarantine for 14 days.
