Third cannabis house seized in ACT

POLICE seized 135 juvenile to mature plants in a Dunlop home yesterday (December 20) as well as hydroponic growing equipment.

It is the third cannabis grow house that ACT Policing have found in the past week, with a total of almost 600 plants being removed.

This grow house is believed to be part of a wider cannabis operation in Canberra, and ACT Policing have said investigations to identify and arrest the persons responsible are ongoing.

Anyone with information about the manufacture, distribution and sale of illicit drugs in the ACT is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
