Active covid cases hit record low

ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 in the ACT have again dropped to their lowest this year.

ACT Health today (August 26) reports there are 1433 active cases throughout the territory, falling from yesterday’s 1463.

New cases remain low, with 247 in the latest reporting period. 143 of these cases tested positive to PCR tests and 104 tested positive to RATs.

Hospital numbers have risen to 112, up from yesterday’s 109. Three people are currently in intensive care but none are on ventilators.
