DAILY cases have dropped but the number of Canberrans in hospital with COVID-19 remains static.

It comes on the final day of daily case reporting.

ACT Health will change routine reporting of COVID-19 information, including case numbers, from daily to weekly after today (September 9), bringing it in line with other state and territories.

There were 86 people with covid in hospital today, one less than yesterday.

Only one person is currently in intensive care.

The ACT has also recorded 137 new COVID-19 cases, down from the 179 new cases of the virus reported yesterday.
