Man robbed making a bank deposit in Manuka

A CUSTOMER was robbed making a deposit at a Manuka bank on Friday morning.

At about 10.30am police responded to reports of two men approaching a third man who was attempting to make a deposit at the Franklin Street bank.

Police believe the two men threatened the man with weapons, including a firearm and a taser, and made off with his cash.

Police say they don’t  believe this was a random incident, and the two men targeted the man making the bank deposit.

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the incident should call 1800 333000, or on the Crime Stoppers ACT website
