A man suffered significant facial injuries after allegedly being assaulted by two strangers at a licensed venue in Braddon.
Police allege two men entered the venue about 7.50pm on July 31 and assaulted a man who was not known to them.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. The two men left before police arrived and have not been identified.
Police have released descriptions of the men as part of an appeal for information.
The first is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged about 20, about 170cm tall with a slim build and light brown hair. He was wearing a black quarter-zip jumper, light brown chino pants and a thick gold necklace.
The second is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged about 20, about 185cm tall with a medium build, dark brown hair and a moustache. He was wearing a light brown puffer jacket and light brown pants.
