Seaplanes start landing on Lake Burley Griffin

THE National Capital Authority (NCA) has announced seaplane operations from Lake Burley Griffin will commence before 2024.

In a public notification statement, the NCA say Sydney Seaplanes will initially offer one or two flights a week between Lake Burley Griffin and Rose Bay, Sydney, before increasing to two flights a day as demand increases.

In preparation, Sydney Seaplanes will conduct promotional flights on October 3 and October 17, subject to weather conditions, before the commencement of commercial services at a yet to be confirmed date.
