Adelaide Avenue pedestrian in ‘serious collision’

A CCTV image of the white Toyota… the driver has come forward to police.

A pedestrian was in a “serious collision” with car on Adelaide Avenue at about 5.45am on Friday.

officers from the Major Collision Team, which is investigating the circumstances of the incident, were looking to identify the driver of a white Toyota sedan, likely a rideshare vehicle, who dropped a man in front of The Lodge, at about 4.17am. Police reported on Saturday morning that the driver had now come forward.

Police are continuing to look for anyone else who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area at the time of or around the time of the incident.
