Armed teens rob Conder pizza shop

Two teenagers, armed with knives, threatened staff and robbed the Conder pizza shop of several hundreds of dollars in cash on Friday night.

Police say the staff complied with the demands for money and the two boys fled in a stolen silver Nissan Qashqai just before 10pm.

Police spotted the car in Bonython, where police searched a nearby home, locating clothing matching the CCTV footage from the store and two bags bearing the store’s logo.

A 16-year-old boy, who lived at the residence, and a 17-year-old boy, who was also there at the time, were arrested.

Both have been charged with aggravated robbery and possessing an offensive weapon with intent.
