E-scooter rider critical after colliding with car

An e-scooter rider is in a critical condition after colliding with a car in Melba.

At about 6.35pm on Tuesday police and emergency services were called to the corner of Alfred Hill Driver and Linger Place following reports of a collision between a gold Toyota Camry sedan and an electric scooter.

The scooter rider was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Police want to speak to witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident or of the vehicles leading up to the incident.
