This is the man police want to speak to after a parking inspector was assaulted in Civic.

A parking inspector has been allegedly assaulted by a man on Bunda Street, Civic, directly adjacent to the Guzman y Gomez store.

Police say one man involved in the alleged assault is assisting with enquiries, however a second man believed to be involved in the 12.45pm, January 22 incident is yet to be identified.

In seeking public assistance, they have released a CCTV image of the man. They describe him as having a tanned complexion, black short hair, dark facial features and a black beard.

One Response to Man sought over assault on parking inspector

cbrapsych says: 12 February 2024 at 3:41 pm

Sadly, our parking inspectors are frequently attacked for just doing their job. The problem is that too many people think they’re entitled to break the law and get angry when they’re caught doing the wrong thing. Instead of accepting the cost of their lawbreaking, they blame the person who catches them out.

This is a childish response of a person not willing to take responsibility for their own actions. Even worse, they think they can harm others to avoid the consequences of their actions. That is criminal behaviour.
