Unlicensed rider flees police, falls off bike

An unlicensed motorcyclist who failed to stop for police in Fisher was arrested shortly after, when they fell off the bike. 

Police attempted to stop a black motorbike travelling on the footpath on Badimara Street at about 2.18pm on Thursday.

Shortly after, the motorbike was spotted on Badimara Street, where the rider collided with the gutter and fell from the motorcycle.

The rider was arrested a short distance away, and has been subsequently charged with failing to stop for police, being an unlicensed rider and resisting a territory official.

Anyone who witnessed the incident on Badimara Street, have dash-cam footage of the motorbike before or prior during the incident should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
