A 29-year-old Downer woman has been caught driving, unlicensed, with more than four times the legal blood alcohol limit and with drugs in her system.
On Friday night police responded to multiple reports of a silver Holden Captiva driving erratically in the Woden and Civic areas.
At about 8.45pm they found the car outside a bottle shop in Dickson. The driver, a woman who has never held a valid licence, returned a breath analysis test result of 0.221. She also underwent a drug screening test, which returned a positive result.
The woman was arrested and charged with driving motor vehicle with alcohol in blood/breath and being an unlicensed driver/rider (never licensed).
