About 12.20am on Monday (June 2) the Uber driver was parked outside Wanderlust in Mitchell when a male, described as Caucasian with a slim build, approached the vehicle offering to pay his fare in cash.
After providing an alleged fake ID to guarantee his trip, he entered the passenger seat and allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened the driver.
Police are seeking any witnesses. Call 1300 333000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
