Ball bearings were used to damage shopfront windows at two buildings in Belconnen on Thursday night.
Police said the criminal damage occurred at buildings on Emu Bank and Benjamin Way between 7pm and 9.30pm.
Ball bearings are believed to have been used to strike shopfront windows at both locations. No one was injured.
Police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage from Emu Bank and Benjamin Way during that period, particularly from anyone who saw people or vehicles in the area.
Anyone who can assist can contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
