A Lyneham man has been charged after allegedly damaging a home and headbutting a police officer on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the 42-year-old attended a Lyneham home about 2pm but was told to leave by the resident.
The man allegedly demanded the resident come outside before damaging a security screen door and throwing a large rock through a kitchen window.
Police arrested the man at a nearby address about 2.30pm, where he allegedly threatened officers and headbutted one of them.
The man, who was subject to good behaviour obligations, has been charged with assaulting a frontline community service provider, resisting a territory public official, threatening to endanger a person’s health and safety, and property damage.
