Rider loses licence over 131km/h speed

A Bonner motorcyclist has lost his licence for six months after allegedly travelling 51km/h over the speed limit in Canberra’s north.

Police say the 50-year-old was detected riding at 131km/h in an 80km/h zone on Horse Park Drive, Harrison, about 11.20am on Thursday.

The man was fined $1891, incurred six demerit points and had his licence suspended for 180 days.
