Teen pair charged over Fadden home burglary

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have been charged after a Fadden home was allegedly burgled and a Volkswagen Golf stolen on Wednesday.

Police allege the pair entered the home through a front window about 3.50am and stole jewellery, cash, vehicle keys and the Golf GTI.

About 9.20am, police received information that the stolen car was at a Belconnen car wash, where the pair were arrested.

Several items allegedly stolen during the burglary were found in the car, with further property located on one of the pair.

Both have been charged with aggravated burglary in company and driving a motor vehicle without consent.

The 17-year-old was subject to bail conditions and a good behaviour order at the time.
