A Vespa rider was seriously injured in a collision with a ute at an intersection in Belconnen on Thursday morning.
Police say the crash involving a white Mazda BT-50 and the scooter happened about 8.30am at the intersection of Chewings Street and Belconnen Way in Page.
The scooter rider was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of the collision.
