ACT covid cases trip into triple figures

THERE were 102 new covid cases recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday (December 23) taking the number of active cases in the territory to 334.

However, ACT Health reports there are only two people in hospital with covid, neither of whom are in intensive care.

The ACT recorded 5075 negative tests in the 24 hours to 9am today.

Meanwhile, the number of residents aged 12 and over has nudged to 98.5 per cent of the population.
