However back in the ‘60s I remember my parents taking our own containers (usually a saucepan or two) to the local Chinese restaurant for takeaway. The other option used by restaurants was a square cardboard cakebox lined with foil. Spring Rolls and dim sims were always just in a paper bag, as they often are now. This could be easily done again, though no doubt our more litigious modern society will find a reason to not do this.

As G Hollands so aptly puts it in simple terms even the Greenslabor bagage should be able to understand, there are more important matters to which our “government” should attend rather than disturbing the takeaway industry, especially in these uncertain times, and their customers. Those tactics are just sooooo uncool, and hopefully a wakeup call for voters.
