AIR safety investigators are continuing to probe a mishap involving a flight leaving Canberra.
The plane, operated by Link Airways on behalf of Virgin, got into difficulty in late March on a flight to Sydney, but details have only recently been revealed.
Virgin flight 625 failed to pressurise when it got airborne and pilots had to keep the aircraft at 10,000 feet until it reached its destination.
The cause was found to be missing trim from the cabin door.
Further investigations are continuing into the circumstances leading up to the incident.
It’s not the first emergency involving the code-share arrangement at Canberra Airport. Last year, there was another emergency involving a Link Airways plane, flying on behalf of Virgin. A strap that was fitted to the propeller was not removed and pierced the cabin on take off from Canberra.
