A MAN in his 80s is the latest victim of COVID-19 in the ACT, bringing the territory’s death toll to 234.
In ACT Health’s weekly report, 826 new cases of the virus have been reported on Friday.
There are 38 people in hospitals throughout Canberra with covid, with three people in the intensive care unit but none requiring ventilation.
Since March 2020, 237,700 cases have been recorded in the ACT.
