A 43-year-old former retail manager has been charged over the alleged assault and indecent acts involving two teenage employees at his O’Connor home in October 2017.
The man was their direct manager at a Belconnen retail store and police allege he used his position to change shifts so he could work with them.
The matter was first reported in 2021 and when the police began reinvestigating sexual assault matters under Operation Foster in February 2023, it was reopened in March, with the man issued a summons.
He has been charged with two counts of acts of indecency with a young person under special care, one count of common assault, and one count of an act of indecency with a person under 16.
