A 38-year-old man has been charged after police found him driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle while disqualified.
Police said officers conducting patrols in Dickson stopped a Mitsubishi Triton about 1.45pm on Friday after identifying it as unregistered.
Checks found the driver was disqualified from driving and was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant.
Police conducted a roadside drug test, which returned a positive indication for cannabis. A secondary oral fluid analysis also returned a positive indication for cannabis, with a sample sent for laboratory testing.
The man was arrested and charged with driving while disqualified, using an unregistered vehicle, using an uninsured vehicle and driving with a prescribed drug in oral fluid or blood.
