Braddon man charged over death threat

A 34-year-old Braddon man has been charged after allegedly threatening to kill a woman known to him.

Police said they received a report on Wednesday that the man had allegedly called the woman and threatened to shoot her.

On Friday, police searched the man’s Braddon home and found a video on the man’s electronic devices showing him pointing a firearm at the camera and miming pulling the trigger.

The man was arrested and charged with reckless threat to kill a person and using a carriage service to menace.
