Embattled Kikkert to fight on for Family First

Suddenly disendorsed, two-term Liberal for Ginninderra Elizabeth Kikkert has hooked up with Family First and hit the streets in a bid to shake off the slurs and get herself a seat at the October 19 election. She talks to IAN MEIKLE.
With only weeks to the October 19 ACT election, the Canberra Liberals have suddenly disendorsed Ginninderra candidate and sitting MLA Elizabeth Kikkert.
"Since 2020, Aboriginal leaders have asked for an inquiry into the justice and corrections systems. In contrast, when concerns arose about the handling of the Lehrmann case, an inquiry was announced within days," says ELIZABETH KIKKERT.
