182 cannabis plants found in Downer

Police found more than 180 cannabis plants in a Downer home

MORE than 180 cannabis plants were found in a Downer home yesterday (Tuesday, February 19).

Canberra police searched the home at about 3pm and found 182 cannabis plants, about 300 cannabis seeds and about two kilograms of dried cannabis.

A 56-year-old man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Anyone with any information about the manufacture, distribution or supply of illicit drugs is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, via the Crime Stoppers ACT website
