Trophies won for Canberra wines

LERIDA Estate and Shaw Wines from the Canberra District have won awards at the 2021 ICC Sydney NSW Wine Awards.

Lerida Estate took out the Nexia Australia Trophy for Best Shiraz, 2019, and the CCL Trophy for Best Dry Red in Show, Shiraz 2019.

The Shaw Wines 2018 Reserve Merriman Cabernet won the RIEDEL Trophy for Best Cabernet Sauvignon.

Geoff Donaghy, CEO of ICC Sydney said the awards are an opportunity to promote Australian wines on a global platform.

“We are delighted to host the awards for the third consecutive year, helping promote wines on a global platform,” Mr Donaghy said.

“By supporting the industry, we also provide our clients and event attendees access to wines of diversity and quality.”
