POLICE are calling the death of a man pinned by a truck trailer in Taylor yesterday (December eighth) a road fatality after investigations found the incident occurred on a public road in a construction area.
A joint investigation between police and WorkSafe ACT found that while the incident occurred in a construction area, it did not occur on a worksite specifically and will therefore be treated as part of the road toll.
Police say it is the tenth road fatality this year.
Investigations are continuing.
