WANDERLUST, one of Australia’s most  innovative jazz ensembles, celebrates 30 years of music making with joyous, exhilarating music and infectious rhythms. THREE new exhibitions at M16 Artspace are opening this weekend: “Counterpart,” by Ali Aedy and Tess Horwitz; “Oak Trees” by David Attwood; “ Up” by Dörte Conroy; and in Chutespace, “ROT!” by Emerson Radisch. The exhibitions run at 21 Blaxland Crescent, Griffith, until February 27.

TOM Buckland, a visual artist and ANU graduate, has recreated and filmed the entirety of Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” with a cardboard set in the gallery space at Belco Arts. An opening performance and screening will be accompanied by a special electo-acoustic composition by Marlēné Claudine Radice, in the Rehearsal Room, 118 Emu Bank, Belconnen. 4.30pm and 6pm, Saturday, February 12, book here
