Critical injuries as car rolls on to roof

A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition after his white Toyota Corolla was found upturned on its roof in O’Connor late on Friday night.

The man, the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained serious head and abdominal injuries.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the Corolla leaving the city along Barry Drive in the moments before the single-vehicle collision or who were travelling along Barry Drive around the time of the incident and have dash-cam footage.

Call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
