Death on the ski slopes

A MAN has died while skiing at Thredbo.

Police say that at about 12.30pm on Thursday a 73-year-old man was skiing when he struck a pole on the edge of the ski run.

Fellow skiers commenced CPR before medical staff could get there, however he died at the scene.

Police have established a crime scene and prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
