Drugs and cash seized in O’Connor

A 41-year-old man has been arrested following a search warrant on his O’Connor home, where officers found drugs and cash.

On Thursday at 6.20pm, police searched the man’s Macarthur Avenue home, where they allegedly found 250 grams of cocaine – worth an estimated $100,000 – two vials containing anabolic steroids and a sum of cash.

Also found our the warrant were a 2018 Subaru WRX sedan, and three motorcycles – a 2015 Harley Davidson VRS, a 2020 Ducati Panigale, and a 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1.

Police say they will be making an application to restrain these vehicles under the Confiscation of Criminal Assets Act 2003.

The man has been charged with drug trafficking, possession of anabolic steroids, and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
